A large scale poster exploring type and viewer engagment
- 35 x 52.5" posters were created from dense content to explore how viewers' attention could be engaged from farther away in order to entice them to come closer and discover the finer details of type. Various type sizes and styles as well as visual variables were used to create connections between information. Specifically, articles from the archives of Carnegie Mellon's School of Design were used to compare and relate to one another, composing broader themes around the subjects of the text. The concept of this poster was to relay the ways that the School of Design influences the wider Carnegie Mellon community. The image was photographed and secondary type was added on top.
