An interactive constellation game
- This project required teams to create games centered around assigned themes. Our game focused on constellations. Our goal was to design an experience that allowed players to be actively involved in game play. This included flicking star tiles across a rotating board in an attempt to land designated pieces into the center hole and create constellations comprised of the greatest number of stars possible. The accompanying constellation point reference guides and rule booklet as well as user interactions were continuously tested to ensure clear and enjoyable game play. We were able to generate a game that was exciting for users while still allowing them to learn, gaining knowledge about the solar system.
